Shifts in how your skin & vaginal area look include things like:
- Ongoing cramping, pressure, or sharp pain in the lower abdomen that is different from normal period cramps
- Discomfort or sharp pain during or after sexual activity
- Burning or discomfort when urinating
- Frequent or uncontrollable urination
- Bleeding that is unpredictable, and going longer than 35 days without a period or less than 21 days between periods
- Heavy bleeding – soaking through a pad or tampon every hour
- Spotting or unexpected bleeding in between periods
- Any vaginal bleeding after reaching menopause
- Unusual discharge that changes in color, consistency, or has an unpleasant odor
- New bumps, blisters, lesions, or growths in the pubic or genital region
